There is something so magical about a three year old. On this day I got to enjoy photographing an energetic, bursting with personality, full of life three year old. A bit shy at first hiding under a blanket, slowly warming up and taking a glimpse out the window, but before I knew it we were running around squishing our feet in the recently defrosted ground. It was amazing watching this little one enjoying a beautiful (almost spring) day, just days after turning three.

The Love of Old
It is no secret that I have a love of the old. I Love Antique anything, I love Vintage clothing and jewelry. I love old homes which is why we live in a 1800's Victorian. I often stop at the local antique stores and purchase probably more than I should. My dining room table and chairs were my Great Uncles, My hutch was my grandmothers, I have an amazing mantel and pocket door, And I have a beautiful piano (out of tune). All show signs of age but that is what makes their beauty. And I can remember in High school walking around school truly thinking that I was so adorable in my moms clothes from the 70's. I loved them and really wish that I still was in possession of them. I am without a doubt in love with all things old so today I played with some vintage after I enjoyed a few moments outdoors with my beautiful girls! I hope that I never lose my love of the old because honestly it is amazing. And each item has a story to tell if you allow it!

Approaching Adulthood
I cannot believe that in just a few weeks this beautiful girl will be 18. The same girl that was attached to my hip as a baby and still to this day we have an amazing bond that I wouldn't change for the world. She is my sister and one of my best friends. Yes there is a big age gap but the only way you can tell is by where we are in our lives, she is seeking the perfect guy and dealing with the daily tribulations of being a teenager and I am chasing after two small children. When we are together we smile, laugh, and fight like sisters and of course our mom who is just like us joins in on the fun! I cannot wait to see the amazing things my sister does with her life. She touches so many people with her personality. And I am so lucky to call her my Sister!

Unique In Every Way!
It seems that snow is a theme here lately. And for me I don't mind. It means I may just go out of my mind for a few moments while being stuck in the house but in today's case the snow was flowing down on and off and yet the roads clear, so I didn't mind seeing the beauty of each flake. You can see by the pictures today that each snowflake is truly unique in it's own way. Very much like us I guess. Many of the ones that fell today on the scarf, still tied to our lovely snow girl, were shaped just like flowers. It gave me a quick glimpse into the months to come. Spring is just around the corner. I was happy to have captured a few flakes that really were so beautiful to observe! I hope you can appreciate the beauty as much as I do! I couldn't get enough of them~

Angelic!
My girls completely melt my heart. They are messy, sweet, loving, full of life and of course energy but in these pictures they look so innocent. You almost wish they would stay little forever. I am looking forward to the adventures ahead but for now I can truly appreciate their innocence. I truly adore them!

More snow fun!
We have been truly enjoying every moment outdoors the last few days. Here are a few of my brother snowboarding even though the snowboard was supposed to be off limits :-). It is wrestling season and as you see by the second picture there is a reason that it is off limits. He had a blast and my daughter did as well making snow angels.
